GHG Accounting is working with the District of Squamish to develop a Municipal Energy and Emissions Plan (MEEP) to complement their Community Climate Action Plan (CCAP). The scope of the project includes the analysis of Squamish’s corporate GHG emissions, the identification of pathways and actions to meet the corporate GHG emissions target – reduce GHG emissions 45% from 2010 levels by 2030 and achieve net-zero emissions by 2050, with energy modelling and stakeholder’s engagement, and funding opportunities advising to realize some of the proposed climate actions.
